North Jakarta's Assistant for Economy and Development, Wawan Budi Rohman, said that Bakul Juara is a regular program designed to boost and empower MSMEs.

"This event is a routine program that we organize. Currently, it is participated in by 23 assisted MSMEs. Each week, participating vendors rotate so that everyone has an equal opportunity," he mentioned on Friday (1/2).

He explained that the products offered at the bazaar are very diverse, ranging from light snacks to hearty meals, which helps attract visitors.

"We hope this activity can increase MSME turnover while introducing local products to a broader audience," he added.

One of the MSME participants from Cilincing Sub-district, Vera (35), who sells Sale Pisang Big Boss, said she was happy to take part in the bazaar.

"Alhamdulillah, I'm very happy to join Bakul Juara. Whenever I'm here, my sales increase because the location is strategic and busy," she expressed.

Vera explained that Sale Pisang Big Boss comes in two varieties, dry and moist sale pisang made from uli bananas without added sugar or preservatives. She started her business in 2024 and joined as an assisted MSME of North Jakarta through the Jakpreneur program in early 2025.

"Prices range from Rp20,000 to Rp35,000. My hope is that in the future MSMEs like ours can be featured more often in bazaar events, whether in office areas or other public spaces," she shared.

Indra (35), an employee in the area, said he enjoyed the presence of Bakul Juara, which he feels makes it easier to find a variety of culinary options while supporting local MSMEs.

He hopes that Bakul Juara can continue and become even more varied so that its benefits can be felt by both business owners and the public.

"Bakul Juara is very positive. We can enjoy delicious food at affordable prices while helping assisted MSMEs in North Jakarta continue to grow," he noted.
